Chris Costanzo spent decades as a magazine and newspaper editor, reporter and freelance writer, and more recently began volunteering at her local food pantry and hunger-relief agency. All of these interests came together in the launch of Food Bank News in 2019. Chris lives in New Jersey with her family, and is a graduate of Cornell University.

With a background in marketing, sales, technology and software, Tim is adept at creating new strategic partnerships and business models that focus on evolving customer needs.

After graduating from West Point and serving on active duty in the US Army Corps of Engineers, Patrick began a private-sector career focusing on real estate, energy, technology and social enterprise.  He has founded, co-founded and led several companies and has served on the board of directors of for-profit, not-for-profit, public and private companies. His mission-driven work began in his local church while growing up, continued at West Point, in the US Army, through his support of various non-profit organizations during his career and through youth sports coaching and mentoring.  Amp Your Good combines Pat’s passion for disruptive technology, health and making a difference in the lives of others. He is married and has four children — two boys and twin girls. He enjoys skiing, science fiction, youth sports and cooking.

MARK BUETTNER

Mark is a Partner at Hackler Buettner LLC, a strategy consulting firm that partners with mission-driven organizations. Before launching this business, Mark worked at Feeding America for nearly a decade, most recently as Senior Director of Capacity Building Strategy & Growth. His past experience also includes consulting for financial services institutions and serving in a variety of roles across the non-profit sector through post-graduate fellowships awarded by Princeton University, where he earned an A.B. in Philosophy. Mark lives in Chicago with his wife and their two boys under five. He enjoys tennis, songwriting and putting his own spin on classic cocktails for friends.

KATHERINE S. CAHILL

Kate focuses a majority of her time on hunger-relief initiatives at the state and local levels, capping a career in financial services. In addition to her work at the MEND hunger-relief agency, she serves on the Board of Directors of The Oratorio Society of New York and on the Board of Trustees for Willamette University in Salem, Ore. She earned a BS degree in finance, cum laude, from Boston College.

PAT CURTIN

Pat founded Point Sur Consulting in summer 2020 to follow his passion of connecting emergency food ecosystems with cutting-edge technology. His work in emergency food began at the Food Bank for New York City in 2008, where he spent eight years developing award-winning programs for emergency food providers. In 2016, Pat joined the Chicago-based start-up NowPow to continue his work designing technology implementations at community-based organizations.

Professor George is Head of Journalism and Television/Digital Media at Montclair State University. Educated at Cambridge University in England and the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York, Professor George has worked as a reporter in Singapore, London, New York and New Jersey. Her work has appeared in The New York Daily News, where she was a staff writer, as well as in The New York Times, New Jersey Monthly magazine, MediaShift and on NJTV.

Kathy is a marketing and communications professional who has spent nearly two decades working with and for mission-focused organizations. She has held leadership positions in shared value corporations such as MicroEdge, whose solutions empower corporations, foundations, government agencies and philanthropic advisors to organize, simplify and measure charitable giving, and Blackbaud, the world’s leading cloud software company powering social good. Kathy is an active volunteer at a local food pantry and has served as board member and development chair for several community-based nonprofits.
